Katie Price v Victoria Beckham

UK glamour model and entrepreneur Katie Price has never been one to mince her words. And this month, she branded her old foe Victoria Beckham 'senile' after the pop-princess-turned-fashion-queen claimed she models her own designs because she represents the 'general public'. Still, Katie and Victoria certainly aren't the first high-profile pair to have disagreed over dress sense or fashion collections. Welcome to our celebrity wardrobe wars. What's the problem? Talking about her design process in a new interview with Harper's Bazaar, Victoria insisted: 'We always joke that we have this fabulously gorgeous 17-year-old model who is six-foot-whatever, and then I say, "OK, I'm going to put it on. I stand for the general public." It's how I work.' So Mrs B's just like the rest of us then? Really? Katie wasn't having any of it. 'I think all this California sunshine is sending Posh senile because she is a size 6,' she wrote in The Sun on Sunday. 'And if she read the papers this week, she would know that the general public like eating pasties and the average British woman is size 16. They can't afford Posh's £1,000 dresses, let alone fit into them.' Our verdict: It pains us to say it, but we're with Katie on this one - although she's not really Ms Average either, is she? Joan Collins v Kate Winslet

What's the problem? Fashion icon Joanie has made quite a career out of bemoaning the demise of glamour and slamming women's dress sense over recent years. But last September, she did the unthinkable and got her claws out for Kate Winslet. On being shown a picture of Kate at the Venice Film Festival - where the actress wore red carpet frocks by Stella McCartney and Victoria Beckham - Joan sniffed: 'Oh, that's a dreadful dress. The worst dress. And ghastly shoes and an awful hairstyle.' Our verdict: Sorry Joan, but we won't have a word said against our Kate.

Pam Hogg v Duchess of Cambridge

What's the problem? The Artist Formerly Known as Kate Middleton has done plenty to fly the flag for the UK fashion industry - but not all British fashionistas sees her as an inspiration. Speaking at a recent art event, fashion designer Pam sounded distinctly unimpressed. 'What is the Middleton effect?' she asked. 'Is that everyone wanting to dress like her? Everyone has always wanted to dress the same as each other - they're like sheep. I make clothes for me, not for the masses. Maybe her effect has helped other designers, but it hasn't had any effect on me.' Our verdict: Fair enough, Pam - Kate's look isn't for everyone. And nor is yours.

Kelly Osbourne v Christina Aguilera

What's the problem? Kelly and Christina's long-term feud was recently reignited after Ms O made some highly unflattering comments about the pop princess on US TV show Fashion Police. First she criticised Christina's appearance in a tight-fitting Givenchy dress, saying: 'Maybe she's just becoming the fat b***h she was born to be.' A couple of months later, she repeated the 'fat' accusation when asked to comment on Christina's bodysuit-and-fishnets get-up at the Michael Jackson tribute concert. 'She called me fat for years,' Kelly insisted. 'I was never that fat.' Our verdict: Truth be told, we're not so keen on Christina's get-up either - but the 'fat' jibes have to stop, Kelly.

Taylor Momsen v Rihanna

What's the problem? Back in 2010, at the ripe old age of 17, Gossip Girl star Taylor felt well qualified to criticise pop stars for dressing like rock stars. 'People think pop is rock and lines are getting blurred,' she whined to Spin magazine. 'Now Rihanna's wearing f***ing leather jackets, and it's really annoying.' Funnily enough, RiRi didn't take kindly to the teenager's criticism. An insider told Heat: 'She got Taylor's mobile number through a friend and called her up, telling her to back off.' Taylor has since claimed she was misquoted. Well, you would, wouldn't you? Our verdict: Rihanna can wear what she likes - even if that turns out to be not-very-much sometimes.

Blake Lively v Leighton Meester

What's the problem? To be fair, rumours of a fashion feud on the set of Gossip Girl have always been hotly denied by the show's stars. But in 2010, Us Weekly reported that leading ladies Blake and Leighton had been at loggerheads for a while. The reason? 'Their rivalry stems from Leighton feeling left out of wardrobe decisions,' claimed an insider. For her role as Blair Waldorf, Leighton's clothes are generally 'preppy' and all-American - while Blake's character Serena van der Woodsen gets to wear high-fashion fairytale frocks. Our verdict: Now, now - we're sure there are enough amazing clothes to go round, girls!
